SCAD Animation Studios' Bearly

I served as the producer for SCAD Animation Studios' first short feature, Bearly.

In this musical film, a bear, who wishes to see the winter, fights his

natural instinct to hibernate to explore the beauty of the changing seasons.

As the producer of such a monumental project for the budding studio, I served many roles to keep Bearly's production running smoothly. I would take notes during dailies everyday and distribute them to their respective artist. I organized many of our films tasks and feedback in a production program called Shotgun.

I worked closely with every team in the animation department and served as their liaison to communicate our film's goals to the sound department. This would be beneficial as it allowed us to set up dates for multiple recording sessions.

In order to communicate both efficiently and effectively, we used a variety of communication channels, such as Outlook and Slack, to convey our film's expectations and deadlines.

Working on Bearly was a truly unique experience that served in shaping my outlook on production management.
